I can't say how much they mimic real world scenarios. If you're not using a VPN, the AdGuard pseudo-VPN works well. ![]() I can't use the AdGuard iOS app's DNS-level filtering because iOS won't let the PIA VPN and AdGuard pseudo-VPN both be active at the same time. For DNS-level blocking, since I always use PIA's VPN, I set the VPN to use the AdGuard standard DNS servers 94.140.14.14/94.140.15.15 (see here). If running iOS Safari, make sure you turn on the AdGuard content blockers under Settings -> Safari -> Extensions. Sounds like it would be good if everyone tried their preferred browser and AdGuard, as results may vary based on configuration.įYI in case it helps anyone, I run AdGuard on iOS with these 9 Safari filters: AdGuard Base, AdGuard Mobile Ads, AdGuard Tracking Protection, EasyPrivacy, AdGuard Social Media, AdGuard Annoyances, Adblock Warning Removal, I don't care about cookies, NoCoin.
